Pity is a feeling of sorrow for someone else's pain. I chose to do this photo because most of the photo has darker grass, which represents the person who is going through the pain. The little patch of light is the person who is feeling the pity for the other person and is trying to brighten up their day and mood.

For this assignment, I decided to chose a tutorial on the photographs of flowers. Flowers are all around us, but are usually always photographed one or two ways. The tutorial I clicked on, showed different ways on how to take pictures of flowers. I like this tutorial because it got me to look at flowers, and plants in general, in different ways, especially up close. The first two photographs i took were up close of a plant, and they show the detail that was in these plants. The last one was taken of a tulip and I really liked how the flower looked from that angle. I really like how the outcome turned out on all of these photos.

During the TED talk, I was shown many photos which helped to answer the question, "How does photography connect us?" During the talk, David Griffin showed photos from around the world and then explain them and how they were taken. Photos of the animals in the wild had to be taken without the photographer, so that the photos would show the animals in their environment. The photos that showed the poverty in a city, made it easy to see the pain that went along with living there. The houses and buildings were all boards, instead of concrete. These photos showed me how lucky I am to be living here, and how I should donate more so that hopefully, one day, they may be able to live how I do. Photography is a great way to show photos of other places to people that don't travel that far. These photos help to show the problems that are going on in different countries. They are then able to see how real something as big as poverty, or killing elephants for their tusks, can be. Peop

For this assignment, I want to show a student who is stressing out. In the first photo, it will be the student doing their homework. The second photo will show a dog coming over to them. And the last photo will be the dog cheering up the student. I want to do this as my triptych because it's easy to be stressed and overwhelmed with school and other things. But from what I've seen, dogs can easily help relieve stress and overall make people happier, even when they are doing something as hard as homework. For this project, I was thinking about doing a family portrait, but that idea didn't work out. I also had another idea before that, to get me walking up stairs, which also didn't work. My final idea was to do something in the sculpture room of me in different places. Here is the final photo: I like this idea because it's easy to see my personality through these photos. I'm either smiling or sticking my tongue out. I think the meaning of this for me was just to have fun and be happy, which is what I'm doing.

1. My first idea is to wrap a balloon in yarn, or some sort of string. I might also decide to wrap the balloon in newspaper. I want to do a balloon because I got balloons for my birthday and they are deflating, so now would be a perfect time to try and do that. 2. My second choice, if the balloon one doesn't work, is to wrap a little pot for a plant that I have. If I end up doing this I will probably wrap it so that a plant can still fit in it. I discovered that wrapping something isn't as easy as it seems. I did a small balloon and I still had difficulties, I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to wrap these huge objects. I also discovered that these wrappings started when Christo began wrapping simple things around his house. My inspiration on this project, besides Christo and Jeanne-claude, was when I was a little kid and sometimes I would do an art project that involved wrapping a balloon with either yarn or newspaper. I found it difficult to wrap the

Color: Black and White: ISO: 100 SS: 1/4 F-Stop: 1.8 Lens: 3.99mm Camera Mode: manual Color: Black and White: ISO: 320 SS: 1/15 F-Stop: 2.2 Lens: 4.15mm Camera Mode: manual Aaron Siskind took a lot of photos that were of peeling paint. I was inspired by that, which is why I chose to do the first photo. The second photo is the black and white version of the peeling paint. The third photo was of a booth at an old-fashioned diner. I took a few pictures of the booth, which I thought was interesting, and I ended up using this photo. This was inspired by Aaron Siskind because he took a lot of up-close photos of objects so that you could see the texture, which is what I did with this photo. The final photo is the black and white version of the booth.

I think I am a bright yellow. I think I am this color because I have a really bright and vibrant personality, that can get me in trouble sometimes. Also because this color is really bright and I like to tell people that I "brighten their life." I chose to use this picture instead of a picture of a sunflower or another bright color because when I saw the caution tape, I immediately thought "OH! That's me!"

For this assignment, I have decided to do double exposure. I found this idea because it popped up on my recommended for you on Youtube. I clicked on the video and it looked like something that would be fun to try. When I tried during class to do this, I messed up and I'm not sure where. I still think that what it turned out to be looked really cool and I like how it ended. So did my friend who I used as the model.
